Believe it or not, I started writing in a very young age hoping to getting published like my early contemporaries who I admired for their work. First gotten published when I was 16 years-old; "The Night Christ Was Born", a poem a wrote during that time and published in a community newspaper thanks to a lady I called "Mama Rawlings" in Savannah, GA. I do remember my very first poem in our elementary school, W.E.B. DuBois School in Chicago, IL. Now, an author of three self-published books, "Sunday Morning: poem" , "The Bridge: poems" and "unspoken word: poems" that can be found on www.barnesandnobles.com, www.amazon.com.
